The purpose of learning

1. Students are able to pronounce vocabulary about colors correctly.
2. Students are able to ask and answer questions about colors correctly.
3. Students are able to spell vocabulary about colors correctly.

Learning points

Vocabulary:

Orange, blue, red, green, black, brown, white, yellow, pink, purple

Structure: What color is it? It is ____.

Song : the color song

What color is the sky? It’ blue. It’ blue. It’ blue.
The sky is blue, the sky is blue.

What color is the sun? Is’ yellow. It’s yellow. It’s yellow.
The sun is yellow, the sun is yellow.

What color is an apple? It’s red. It’s red. It’s red.
An apple is red, an apple is red.

Learning process

Warm Up

1. Teacher and students sing a song: The color song
Presentation

1. Teacher shows colors paper and word card.
2. Teacher pronounces and spells vocabulary then let students repeat 2 or 3 times.
3. Teacher presents sentence A: What color is it? B: It is ____.
4. Teacher reads the sentence.
5. Students repeat and write them down in their notebook.

Practice

1. Teacher shows color paper.
2. Students pronounce, spell and tell the meaning of colors
3. The teacher splits student into two groups, the first groups ask question what color is it?, and the other groups answer If is____.
Production

1. Students draw 1 picture of a toy and color it, and then, write a sentence to describe the colors of the toy. It is___.

Warp Up

Teacher and student review the vocabulary and sentences together.
